We at U.S. Restorations recognize that all home improvement projects are a major inconvenience to the homeowners. Remodeling Magazine states that the number one reason for having an unsatisfied customer, is that the customer envisions a different job completion than the contractor. In response to the above we would like to offer the follow tips or suggestions. These hints are designed to minimize problems and concerns, and to ensure that your expectations are the same as ours. 1. We will endeavor to provide you with notice before we start your job. It is important that you remove all breakable off your exterior walls. When siding is installed, we will be hammering on all exterior studs. This may cause vibrations that may shake items off the walls 2. Shrubbery - We will try our best not to have contact with any plants or shrubs. However, those plants 3. Clean-up - It is our policy to clean up the job site daily. When your old siding is removed, a very large quantity of old nails will fall to the ground. The siding crew will pick this up daily, however with so many people walking around the house, they inevitably step on a few. Consequently, there will be a small amount of nails slightly below the ground. Therefore we would recommend caution when walking around the house barefoot, until such a time that you can be reasonably assured that all nails have been removed. We feel that by properly informing you of some potential problem areas up front, we can minimize their impact and provide you with the opportunity to affect these issues.
